Autumn Lin Kietponglert’s creations using YKK® zippers
This year to celebrate National Zipper Day on April 29th, YKK had a photo contest, and we asked people to submit any unique photos of YKK® zippers on our Instagram page. The winner of the contest was Autumn Lin Kietponglert, a fashion designer and dress maker from Pennsylvania. Autumn submitted these photos featuring some of her designs made with YKK® zippers for the contest. She has been a fan of YKK® zippers for quite a while.
Back in 2008, she designed her first zipper dress, made out of YKK® zippers, for the Arts of Fashion Young Designers Competition. In that same year, she went to the fall edition of New York Fashion Week, where she appeared with a model who wore her zipper dress.

In addition to this milestone, in 2012, she received the RAW artist of the Year for Fashion Design. Also in 2013, she was a contestant on Bravo’s “Styled to Rock,” a fashion reality TV show competition hosted by Rihanna.
