YKK (U.S.A.) Inc. announces its collaboration with Atlanta Sustainable Fashion Week (ATLSFW) to showcase its sustainable zippers as part of designer collection pieces at the organization’s event from October 10-14, 2023. Atlanta Sustainable Fashion Week will take place at Lee + White Entertainment Complex in Atlanta’s Historic West End.
The YKK team will assist ATLSFW designers by outfitting them with sustainable zippers to feature in debut designs on the ATLSFW runway. In addition, YKK will host a workshop on September 20, 2023 called Zipper 101, introducing designers to the fundamentals of YKK® zippers including YKK’s sustainable zippers, as well as the fastening group’s sustainability initiatives. This collaboration offers emerging and established eco-friendly designers needed resources to scale their businesses.
