There are ring-type springs in the socket part. The ring-type springs open, which makes the snap fit in. As its action is stronger than that of the S-Spring Snap, it is suited for attachment to heavy garments. As it is self-piercing*, you do not need to make a hole in advance.

*Indicates a method in which S&B products make a hole
in the fabric by itself and become attached. Most of YKK’s S&B products are self-piercing compatible and it is not necessary to make a hole in the garments in advance.
