AquaGuard® Coil Zipper
YKK’s AquaGuard® coil zipper is a water resistant zipper. This fastener is created by laminating PU on the backside of a coil zipper. There are three types of film variations: shiny transparent film, matte transparent film and matte colored film with a high quality appearance. This zipper is now available in fashionable neon color variations.

This zipper is water resistant, not waterproof/watertight.
[Application]
Do not use it in a curved application since the slider may cut the tape.
Avoid applications where PU zippers will come into contact with “vinyl,” such as PVC or PU.
[End Use Instruction]
Avoid prolonged exposure to heat and humidity, and keep the zipper away from direct sunlight. The sun’s UV rays may cause a yellowing of the PU film.
A minimal degradation may occur, but this will not effect the performance of the film.
Repeated bending of the zipper may create a cloudy film.
[Washing]
Do not tumble dry.
[Dry-cleaning]
A petroleum based solvent is recommended. Do not use a chlorine based solvent.
[Ironing]
Avoid ironing. It may flatten the film and cause the film to melt.
