According to the National Center for Women in Technology, the number of U.S. computing-related job openings expected by 2026 will be 3.5 million. However, only 17% of these jobs can be filled by U.S. computing bachelor’s degree recipients by 2026. As the demand for talent in the tech industry continues to grow, it is important to encourage youth to explore and pursue careers in the S.T.E.M/ S.T.E.A.M fields. To celebrate National S.T.E.M/ S.T.E.A.M Day (Nov. 8), we asked our colleagues from the North and Central America region to share their insights and advice for future generations.
