Zipper tape is completely covered by polyurethan film to ensure maximum water repellent.  YKK VTN4/VTN5 are suitable for heat process.

  • Avoid applications where YKK PU zipper will come into contact with Vinyl (PVC) or PU material.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to heat and humidity, and keep the zipper away from direct sunlight.  UV rays may cause a yellowing of the PU film.
  • A minimal degradation may occur, but this will not effect the performance of the film.
  • Repeated bending of the zipper may cause the film to become cloudy.
  • Avoid ironing, as it may flatten the film and cause the film to melt.
  • A petroleum based solvent is recommended.  Do not use a chlorine based solvent.
